My Journey in Technology

My passion for computer technology and programming began during my college years. Coming from a middle-class family in India, owning a personal computer was a luxury that I couldn’t afford for a long time. However, my curiosity and determination to learn never faded. While pursuing my studies, I took on part-time jobs to save up and eventually bought my first personal computer—an experience that opened the door to a whole new world of possibilities.

Technology has always fascinated me, and I eagerly explored its functionalities. The internet became my greatest mentor, guiding me through the fundamentals of programming and the intricacies of how the internet itself works. This self-driven learning ignited my ambition to gain formal education in computer science and programming. Seeking better opportunities, I moved to Canada to further my knowledge and skills.

With a strong foundation built through hands-on experience, I enrolled in an IT diploma program specializing in website development, which I successfully completed in 2023. Since then, I have been actively seeking opportunities to start my career in the IT sector. I am committed to continuous learning, refining my skills, and staying up to date with evolving technologies to meet global industry standards. My journey has been driven by resilience, adaptability, and a passion for innovation, and I look forward to contributing my expertise to a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

Telecommunication (2017 - 2019)

I have gained extensive experience working in various telecommunications sectors with different vendors over time. I started my journey as a Customer Service Representative, and through dedication and consistent performance, I was promoted to Senior Customer Service Representative and later to Team Leader. Recognizing my leadership skills and commitment, I was eventually entrusted with the role of Supervisor, where I successfully managed three teams simultaneously.

Security Supervisor (2019 - 2021)

After my experience in the telecommunications industry, I transitioned into the security sector as a Security Supervisor. My role primarily involved recruiting and onboarding new candidates for ATM and bank security, as well as managing their shift schedules. Additionally, I took on the responsibility of training new hires, guiding them in their specific roles, and instilling strong work ethics to ensure professionalism and efficiency in their duties.

Work Experience Gained in Canada

Tim Hortons( Nov 2021 - April 2022)

Dominos pizza delivery (Dec 2021 - April 2022)

My primary responsibility was to deliver food items to customers efficiently while prioritizing road safety and maintaining food quality. During quieter periods, I assisted the kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaned utensils, and ensured the industrial oven remained in proper working condition.

L'Avenue Mont Royal (Nov 2022- June 2023)

At L'Avenue, I worked as a Cuisiner, handling a range of responsibilities. Before opening, my duties included food preparation, such as portioning various meats, chopping vegetables, and preparing pancake batter. During service hours, I worked in the front kitchen, cooking a variety of breakfast and lunch dishes, including pancakes, omelets, burgers, and potatoes. I was also responsible for managing the flat grill and gas burners, ensuring they were thoroughly cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift.

Delivery driver (Amazon Dec 2024 - Feb 2025)

As a Delivery Driver, my key responsibilities included conducting a pre-shift inspection of the delivery vehicle and reviewing my assigned route. I picked up packages from the Amazon warehouse, systematically organizing them in the vehicle for efficient deliveries. Throughout my shift, I ensured timely and accurate parcel drop-offs, documenting each delivery with photographs for verification. At the end of my shift, I performed a final vehicle inspection to check for any damages or maintenance needs, reporting any potential hazards to the dispatcher to ensure the safety of future drivers.

Canpak Transport ( Feb 2024 - July2024)

As a System Analyst at Canpak Transport, I was responsible for preparing, editing, and proofreading a wide range of business correspondences, invoices, and reports, ensuring that all documents adhered to company policies and were free of errors. I also played a key role in managing and maintaining an organized filing system for critical company information, ensuring compliance and easy access to essential documents. Additionally, I efficiently coordinated and scheduled appointments with vendors, facilitating seamless communication and ensuring timely follow-ups to optimize business operations and foster strong vendor relationships.

I worked as a Baker at Tim Hortons, where my responsibilities included stock replenishment, preparing breakfast and lunch items, and organizing inventory in the storage room. I was also responsible for managing order fulfillment for future requirements, ensuring proper storage rotation, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in compliance with company guidelines.
